With a new kit announced in December and a team presentation scheduled for next Monday, January 22, the world's number one women's road team has officially announced its new name, Team SD Worx-Protime, a subsidiary of SD Works, for the next three years. joined as a second title sponsor.
Protime is a European-based workforce management company that will bring financial stability through 2026 to the team that topped the women's UCI and World Tour rankings for the third consecutive year in 2023 SD Worx dominated the road calendar last year with 64 wins.
The team presentation will take place at Pro Time's headquarters in Mechelen, Belgium. Pro Time first appeared in the jersey of the Dutch team that competed in last summer's Tour de France Femme.
SD Worx supported the Dutch team for the first time in 2020 and took over title sponsorship from Boels Dolmans in 2021. Support for the team, which features an all-star cast including road and track world champion Lotte Kopecky and Tour de France Femmes winner Demi Vollering, has also been confirmed through 2026.
"Women's cycling has developed enormously in recent years and the sport will continue to grow. As a result, budgets will continue to grow, and SD Worx, Protime, and Specialized are partners we hope to grow with over the next few years to ensure we remain at the top of the women's cycling world," team manager Erwin Janssen said in a press release.
Team SD Walks Pro Time will kick off its 2024 Women's World Tour campaign with the UAE Tour Women's event on February 8-11. In last year's inaugural UAE 4-day stage race, Lorena Wiebes won the second stage and finished third in the points prize.

Specialized has worked with the team since 2014 and last fall renewed its long-term support through 2028. In addition to the bikes, Specialized created a new kit for this season, featuring a six-point cross inverted in white on a purple, pink, and orange color fade block. The SD Worx and Protime brands are prominently featured on the front and back of the jersey.
Protime has been named a "Best Company to Work For" for 10 consecutive years and is based in Belgium and the Netherlands, and has expanded throughout Europe, most recently to Spain.
