Dylan Groenewegen and Caleb Ewan join at Jayco-AIUIa until 2025

Jayco-AIUIa has announced that Dylan Grunewegen's contract with the team has been extended by 2025 as the Australian team is working to combine the Dutchman's sprint skills with the new sign.Caleb Ewan

Ewan will return to the Australian team after a 4-year spell at Lotto-Dstny in 2024. However, Groenewegen's contract extension represents the credibility of the statement.

The 30-year-old Groenewegen joined the current team in 2022 with a 3-season contract and has since recorded 13 wins, bringing his career total to 69. His biggest win for Jayco-AIUIa is the stage of the 2022 Tour de France, with another 6 wins this year, including the stage of the UAE tour.

"We have already achieved many special victories in the past 2 seasons and the goal for me and the team is to achieve more," Groenewegen said.

"Winning the Tour de France was our biggest goal and we managed this in our first year.

Jayco-AlUla has Michael Matthews, Simon Yates and Eddie Dunbar as team leaders, and Luke Plapp is expected to join the team from Ineos Grenadiers. Groenewegen and Ewan are the team's sprint leaders.

"Dylan is one of the 1 leaders in this team and continues to strengthen in all departments, so it's important to have a leader like myself," said team manager Brent Copeland.

"Since Dylan joined us, we've all learned a lot in the last two years and with this we've grown as an organization. We are really looking into adding strength to the sprint group next season to further support Dylan and we are confident Dylan can enjoy more success with us.”
