Primoš Logric was one of the special guests at the presentation of the 2024 Giro d'Italia Route held in Trento, and this event gave him
a special highlight video reminded him of his race, especially the decisive time trial to Monte Russari. It was a great experience. He dropped the chain on a steep climb, but raced towards victory and celebrated with his teammates and thousands of Slovenian fans who gathered to cheer for Lolic across the nearby border.
"After watching the video of the Giro d'Italia victory, many beautiful memories came back. It's good to remember nice things," Logric said on stage during the event.
"Winning the Giro was one of the 1 most emotional days of my career. It was incredible. It's nice to live it all again and be a part of it all.
Logric is not expected to defend the 2024 Giro d'Italia win and is focused on the Tour de France after his move from Jumbo Bismar to Bora Hansgrohe. He won the Vuelta a España, but the Tour de France has so far been out of reach and a crash has destroyed his recent attempts.
"Obviously, I know what's missing in my Palmares," Logric said after winning the Giro d'etalia.
Roglić is still sitting with the management of Bora Hansgrohe and new teammates like the 2011 Giro winners Jai Hindley, Sian Uy
Bora・Hansgrohe will help Roglić step up in the Tour de France and aim for victory. We believe that the race is one, but the ultimate goal and race program have not yet been determined.
"I've changed the team, but I don't know anything about what to do in 2024, and I don't have any personal plans. First of all, it's winter now," Roglić told cyclingnews.
However, he saw the logic of riding the Giro d'Italia and suggested that Tadezi Poganyal should ride early.
"Sure, he should ride the Giro one day," Logric told cycling News. "We feel it's also our race, so it's always beautiful to ride it for us.
"One of the good reasons to ride the Giro d'Italia is to be able to relax when you win the first 1 out of 3 grand tours.
Roglić studied the 2024 Giro d'Italia route and noticed that race Director Mauro Vegni reduced stage distance and climbing volume compared to 2023 by 20%.
He predicted that the final Mountain stage would determine the winner in 2024.
"The route of the Giro is a bit different. There are hard finishes and many time trials. Regardless of the length of the stage, the Giro is always a big challenge," suggested Logric.
"The more you go towards the end, the more decisive the stage becomes. Indeed, the Montegrappa stage will be the place where riders who want to win have to go for it in the end.
Logric will be a guest at the Gazzetta Dello Sport Saturday Morning Sports Festival. The family holiday will come later in the fall, after a gathering with his new Bora Hansgrohe teammates.
"We are still in the planning phase. Then the holidays, and then we have to do it all over again in 2024," he said, highlighting the annual routine of all Grand Tour winners and all professional riders.
