The UCI has published a list of professional teams that requested registration for the 2024 season, with the same 18 men's World Tour teams in 2023 applying for licenses in 2024, 16 women's teams applying for 15 available locations as women's world Tour teams, and 17 men's teams applying for professional team status. We are applying for the task.

The UCI announcement confirms that Jumbo-Visma and Soudal-QuickStep will continue as separate entities after negotiations to form a mega team that ended in early May 10.

Jumbo-Visma is listed as a Trapeze Pro cycling team on the Uci team list. It is the name of the team's management company, and Visma and Lease A Bike will be named as title sponsors.

All other teams are set to continue their 2023 World Tour status, with Arkea adding b&B Hotels as their 2nd sponsor and Intermarché-Wanty losing Circus as their title sponsor.

Many team changes are expected for the 2024 Women's World Tour. EF Education-TIBCO SVB is foldable, Jayco AlUla and Liv-TeqFind merged into one team under the name of the former. It created a slot for a new team.

AG Insurance-Soudal Quick-Step, Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling and Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi are three teams trying to move up from the continental level.

In the rankings, Ceratizit-WNT scored 3 best in 2023, finishing 11th overall in the team rankings, AG Insurance 13th and the Basque team 25th.

Three of this year's teams were listed in the press release under different names from the women of Jumbo-Visma under the Uno-X as Blanco Pro Cycling Women, Israel-Premier Tech Roland and Uno-X Mobility.

In 2023 there were 18 male prosthetics, but the U.S.-registered Human Powered Health Team and New Zealand's Bolton Equities Black Spoke team are absent from the 2024 list.

Both teams are struggling to find new sponsors. TDT-Unibet has been added to the list as it works to step up from Continental to ProTeam level.

Other teams can apply for ProTeam status in 2024 before the final deadline, but face a battle with time and additional costs. The continental team is registered with the national federation and follows a simplified process.

A list of uci teams is important for riders who are under contract with a team that is not listed. Under UCI rules, they can now terminate their contract prematurely and sign with other teams. We expect that a number of World Tours and pro-tems will conclude contracts with riders and announce some last-minute signings as they complete their roster

Team license applications will include sponsorship information, budgets, bank guarantees, rider contracts, and staff structure. All of these will be investigated in detail by the uci Licensing Committee and external auditor PwC to ensure that they respect sports, administrative, ethical, financial and organizational standards and UCI rules.

UCI announced that it would issue a press release on 12/12, when the Licensing Committee's decision was communicated to UCI and the team.

Thanks to the points earned in 2023, Lotto-Dstny and Israel-PremierTech will receive automatic invitations to all world tour races, including the Tour de France, and Uno・X will receive One・day World-Two
