The giants have signed an additional 4-year contract with Jayco-AlUla to extend their technical partnership with the Australian team to the end of the 2027 season. Liv will also step into the title sponsorship role in the women's World Tour team known as Liv Arla Jaco in 2024.
"Our commitment to a further four years motivates us more as we strive for more and strengthen in all areas," jayco-AlUla General Manager Brent Copeland said in a statement. "We continue to work with them to develop the best racing equipment and we thank everyone involved for their continued support and belief in us as an organization.
The Australian men and Women team first partnered with Giant Group, the parent company of the Giant, Liv and CADEX brands, after spending 1 year with Bianchi in 2022. It was. Before that, the team had a long-term partnership with Scott.
"Their commitment to the sport and our team is unmatched," giants Copeland said. Since starting this partnership, we have seen a lift in performance."
The addition of Liv as title sponsor for the women's team came after the Women's World Tour team Liv Racing-TeqFind was merged into the Australian team, resulting in the formation of Mavi GarcĂa and one development team to provide a path to the top level among those added to the team.
"Having a structured development pathway in place for any rider is not only an important part of a rider's career, but one that we feel is lacking in the female Peloton in particular," Copeland said at the time the merger was announced.
The core of the Australian GreenEdge team's support has long been owner Gerry Ryan, whose various businesses have been enhanced as title sponsors since the team was formed in 2012. Stepping up support for the team, AlUla was added to the mix in 2023 as title sponsor, and Liv was added to the women's team in 2024.
Both the Women's World Tour team and the development team will operate under the name Liv AlUla Jayco.
