We're celebrating Winter Week here at Cycling News, and I'm sure our readers in the Southern Hemisphere are enjoying the glorious sunshine.
For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the days are getting longer, the temperatures are dropping, and the rainfall is increasing. So, we've put together a guide and feature full of information to help you stay warm, dry, and keep your gear in tip-top shape over the next few months.
Let's start with clothing. If you're not warm and dry, you're going to have a terrible time, no matter how well-prepared your bike is. Check out our guide to the best cycling jackets for winter and the best bib tights for winter to start getting ready. If you're already ready for the big winter clothes, make sure you're also comfortable on the periphery with the best winter cycling gloves and the best winter cycling shoes.
Your clothes are ready. Now, the best bike lights, or the best cheap bike lights, will help illuminate the dark, eerie back roads and forest trails.
We also understand that many people prefer to stay indoors during the winter months and use indoor cycling as a safe haven while the conditions outside are miserable. Last month we had an Indoor Training Week, and indoor training is part of winter riding, so we're hoping that you'll join us for a week of indoor training, and we hope that you'll join us for a week of indoor training, too.
