The 2022 road racing season has come to a close, but plans for 2023 are underway, with the Tour de France and Tour de France Femme route presentations taking place on Thursday, October 26.
In cycling news, key riders such as Tadej Pogachar (UAE Team Emirates) and Annemiek van Fruten (Movistar) will be in attendance, but current champion Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo Visma) will not.
The route presentation of the 2023 Tour de France will be broadcast live in Europe and around the world.
Route details for the 2023 Tour de France and Tour de France Femme have been leaked in advance and will likely feature a Puy de Dome summit finish and team time trial for the men and the Col du Tourmalet for the women.
The women's race is expected to start in Paris, where the start was made this summer, while the men's race is expected to start across the border in the Basque Country.
Champions Pogacher and Van Fruten as well as other major players are expected to attend the route presentation. Tom Pidcock (Ineos Grenadiers), Audrey Cordon-Lago (Trek-Segafredo), Mark Cavendish (Quick Step-Alphavinyl), Marta Cavalli (FDJ-Suez Futuroscope), Michael Matthews ( Bike Exchange = Jayco), Greg Van Avermaat (AG2R = Citroen), and other stars of the pro cycling world will gather in Paris.
