Simon Yates returns to racing at Coppa Agostoni after retiring from the Vuelta a España

Simon Yates will return to racing in Italy with Coppa Agostoni after a month's rest after contracting COVID-19 at the Vuelta a España.

"In Hiller, Yates will be the leader, with climbers Kevin Colleoni, Damian Howson, and Lucas Hamilton supporting him.

All of these races will serve as appetizers for the October 8 showdown at Il Lombardia. Yates has very little racing experience in Italy's fall events, but he will be very good at the very hilly finale, which includes the Civiglio and San Fermo della Battaglia climbs on the finish circuit in Como.
