Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma) won the time trial on stage 10 of the Vuelta a España in Púa, covering 36.2 km in 47:06, 25 seconds ahead of second place Patrick Bevin (CCC Team) and Detunink-Quick Step's Remi Cabaña. (CCC Team) and Remi Cavagna of Detunink-Quickstep.
More importantly, the Slovenian kicked his rivals out of the overall race. Fellow Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) was 11th, 1:29 behind.
Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) finished fourth and moved into second place. Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana) held on to third place overall. Overnight leader Nairo Quintana (Movistar) finished 27th, 3:06 behind Roglic. The Colombian is in fourth place overall by 3 minutes.
