Australians Ben Dyball and Dylan Sunderland have signed contracts with World Tour team Team NTT for the upcoming season. Denmark's Andreas Stockbro, currently with Pro Continental team Rewal Readiness and this year's under-23 Tour of Flanders winner, will also join the team.
Daibor will ride the 2019 season with Team Sapura at the Continental level, and this year's victories include both road race and time trial titles at the Oceania Continental Championships in March, a stage win and overall victory at the Tour de Langkawi in April, and a July Tour This includes a stage win and third place overall at the Tour of Qinghai Lake in July.
"It still feels incredible to be racing for Team NTT in 2020. I've always dreamed of racing at the top level of cycling and I'm incredibly excited to step up next year."
Sunderland is the nephew of former pro and current race director of Cadel Evans' Great Ocean Road Race and Flanders Classic, Scott Sunderland, who is currently with Team Bridge Lane at the continental level. This season, he has participated in a truly international program, racing in Romania, France, Japan, and the United States, following a cycling summer in Australia.
"I am truly grateful for this opportunity and equally proud to join Team NTT in 2020. I am ready for the challenge of stepping up to the World Tour level and taking the next step in my career with NTT, and I am really looking forward to racing amongst the team's wealth of experience."
Doug Ryder, Dimension Data's team principal, added that the technology partners at NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone), which owns Dimension Data, have found new ways to discover future talent.
"After employing the Ryder Dashboard analysis system, which aggregates race-day points and win percentages for all riders throughout the entire UCI calendar, Benjamin, Dylan, and Andreas were identified," he explained.
"We believe this approach will greatly enhance our team and ultimately lead to a competitive edge in one of the most demanding sporting environments in the world.
