Cavagna renews contract with Detunink Quickstep

Frenchman Remi Cavagna has renewed his contract with the Detunink-QuickStep team, the Belgian team announced Friday.Cavagna, 24, won stage 19 of the Vuelta a España in Toledo last week and the May He won a stage at the Amgen Tour of California in May.

"TGV of Clermont-Ferrand" has been with coach Patrick Lefevere's team since 2017, after working with Klein Constantia's development team.

With a Grand Tour stage win under his belt, Cavagna hopes to one day wear the French national champion jersey.
