British rider Elinor Beckstedt, who won a bronze medal at the world championships held in her home country, has signed a three-year contract with the Trek-Segafredo team. Trek-Segafredo announced the signing of two world champions earlier this week, junior road race winner Quinn Simmons and time trial winner Antonio Tiberi.

Beckstedt, 17, won Gent-Wevelgem, took two stage wins and the overall win at EPZ Omloop van Borsle, and finished second overall in the Healthy Aging Tour Junior Women.

Trek-Segafredo, along with Canyon Slam, Mitchelton-Scott, CCC-Liv, Movistar, Team Sunweb, Yale-Cipollini, and FDJ, are the new UCI Worlds guaranteed entry to the UCI Women's World Tour event Team is one of eight teams competing for the team license.
