The Mitchelton-Scott girls add 33-year-old Janneke Ensing to their 2020 roster, joining Dutch compatriots Annemiek van Fruten and Moniek Tenigro.
A 10-year veteran of the pro peloton, Ensing spent part of 2019 with Team Sunweb before moving to WNT-Rotor in May. She was most recently fourth at Emakumeen Nafarroako Klasikoa in July and second at Classica San Sebastian in August.
Ensin's career includes a win at Le Samyn des Dames in 2018, a stage win at the 2017 Boels Rental Ladies Tour, and second overall at the 2017 Tour Down Under. She has also finished second twice in Ghent-Wevelgem, in 2014 and 2015.
"I am very happy to be joining one of the best teams in the world," Encin said in a statement provided by the team. 'I love racing for Mitchelton Scott. I like the way Mitchelton Scott races. You can see that the team has a plan and everyone is working hard for it.
"When I raced against teams in past seasons, I noticed the team spirit and I think I can contribute to that. I'm a really hard worker and have a positive attitude, and I want to use those qualities with this team."
Mitchelton-Scott sporting director Martin Vestby said he believes Ensing can make it all the way through the season with Mitchelton-Scott.
"Janneke is a strong rider, we have seen her potential and she has performed really strongly in some races.
"She is an aggressive rider and is well-suited to work on breakaways. She can handle anything and fits very well into our group for next season."
[16"Janneke can get over a lot of hills and will be a really good supporter for the team's main climber.
The team also added British rider Jessica Roberts for 2020, bolstering an already strong roster.
"With myself, the two other new riders the team has signed, and the riders already on the team, I am confident we can take another step forward.
