British team Drops Cycling has signed 23-year-old Dutch rider Marjolein van't Geloof for the 2020 season, strengthening the team for the classics and bunch sprints.
Van't Geloof joins from Ale Cipollini, where she finished third in the Trophy Maarten Winants and eighth in the Nokelle Koase this season. The previous year he was a member of the Lotto Soudal Ladies.
"I am very grateful for the opportunities the team has given me. 'I wasn't quite ready to show it this season, but they kept believing in my ability. I can be a strong part of the team in the spring classics and flat races."
"The spirit of this team inspires me. The fun and joy that cycling has brought me over the years is something I truly cherish." So without a doubt, I plan to enjoy the upcoming season to the fullest."
Bob Varney, team director of the Drops, added: "Marjolein is a great talent, and with the group we have assembled for 2020, we will look to be strong in the semi-classics and sprint stages.
The signing of Vant Gerouf comes shortly after the team signed Norwegian duo Emily Moberg and Elise Marie Olsen for the upcoming season.
