With 15 races already completed from the 36-race USA Cycling 2019 pro cyclo-cross calendar, American Kelly Warner and Frenchwoman Caroline Mani narrowly lead a number of rivals who have swapped podium positions.

Warner leads Curtis White by 20 points in the elite men's standings, while Vincent Vestance, who just took the series lead, remains in third place by 41 points.

Young prospect Gage Hecht, 21, is currently in fourth place by 92 points, while national champion Stephen Hyde is in fifth place by 110 points.

In the elite women's category, Mani leads runner-up Mahalee Rochette of Canada by just four points, with third-place Clara Honsinger, just 22, 41 points behind. Rebecca Fahringer is fourth, 91 points behind, and Sunny Gilbert is fifth, 136 points behind.

The 2019 USAC Pro CX calendar began at the end of August at Blue Ridge GO Cross in Virginia, with White and Werner swapping the top spot on the podium over both days. Mani and Fahringer also began a back-and-forth battle, each taking a win;

the series moved to Rochetzer Cross in New York the following weekend, where Rochette won both days and White shared the win both days with Baystars

The series then moved to Iowa City for Jingle Cross, which included the opening round of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup. Lander Loucks won the opening C2 race for the men, while Jen Jackson won the women's race.

Rochette won the Jingle Cross World Cup race and also won the C1 race the next day. In the men's race, Eli Iserbitt started his World Cup campaign with a win, and Gianni Fermersch won the C1.

The series and UCI World Cup moved to Waterloo, Wisconsin and Trek Bicycles' world headquarters for the Trek Cup and World Cup Round 2. Lawrence Sweck and Jolanda Neff won the Trek Cup, while Katerina Nash and Isibel won the second World Cup race.

Fayette Cross in Arkansas (site of the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships) hosted the next two US Pro CX races. Werner and Rochette won the opening race, while White and Honsinger were at the top of the podium the next day.

Last weekend's races were held in Colorado and Maryland, with the Charm City Cross in the east and the Shimano-Floyds of Leadville US Open p/b Trek Boulder-Panaracer in Colorado.

In Maryland, Fahringer won both days, while White and Werner again shared the win over two days. In the West, young Lance Heide won the first day, and legendary US champion Katie Compton took the women's title on her home turf; on the second day, Honsinger won the women's race, and local hero Eric Brunner won the men's race.

The USA Cycling Pro Cyclocross calendar continues this weekend with the DCCX on Saturday and Sunday in Washington, DC.
