Former Danish road race champion Julie Less will join German-registered women's team WNT-Rotor for the 2020 season.
Les spent a year with Bigla Pro Cycling in 2019, winning the SwissEver GP Cham-Hagendorn in May and finishing sixth in the Brabantse Pijl in April. Before joining Bigla, Les spent two seasons with the now defunct British team Wiggle High 5.
The 27-year-old was Danish road race champion in 2011 and won the national time trial title in 2014. In addition to road racing, where he specializes in one-day races, Les is also active in track racing, defending his Madison title at the European Track Championships in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, earlier this month, along with 2016 road race world champion Amalie Dideriksen The team won the championship.
"It's great to join a professional environment and a place where I can evolve as a rider," Les said in a press release.
"The team sees my potential and I can't wait to integrate into the team and get off to a strong start in the spring classics and track world championships in Berlin in February.
"The support from the team to run track has been great, not only for me but for many on the team. I am really looking forward to the year ahead," said Les, who also hopes to represent Denmark on the track at the Tokyo Olympics next summer.
"I'm looking forward to running with a lot of girls. It's really exciting to be together again and hopefully we can win races together," she said.
