Trek-Segafredo unveiled the men's and women's 2020 team kits at the Rouleur Classic in London on Thursday. Lizzie Deignan and Giulio Ciccone presented jerseys designed by team sponsor Santini.
The men's team colors will be similar to the white jerseys used in the Tour de France, rather than the red-based jerseys worn by the riders this year. The main panels on the front and back will be white, with a large red block on the chest indicating the title sponsors, Trek and Segafredo.
The main difference is that the sleeves of the jersey are now black with two white stripes on the cuffs.
Seventeen new members will be on the Trek-Segafredo men's team next year, including Vincenzo Nibali and his brother Antonio, Kenny Elissondo, Alexander Kamp, Emil Riepiņš, Michel Ries, Charlie Quarterman, Quinn Simons, and 10 others. The new roster includes 10 new riders. Junior time trial world champion Antonio Tiberi will join the team in 2021 after spending the season as an under-23 rider.
Returning riders include Giulio Ciccone, Kiel Reijnen, Toms Skuzins, Ryan Mullen, Alex Kirsch, Jacopo Mosca, Nicola Consi, Niklas Egg and Gianluca Brambilla.
New UCI rules require men's WorldTour teams to have a minimum of 28-30 riders.
Trek-Segafredo's women's jersey is blue, as it is this year. The panel on the upper torso indicating the title sponsor is dark blue. The lower section is crisscrossed with various shades of blue, from light blue to dark blue. The cuffs are striped in dark blue. The collar is white to dark blue.
The Trek Segafredo women's team, led by Degnan, includes Lotta Lepisto, Elisa Longo Borghini, Letizia Paternoster, Ellen van Dyk, Taylor Wiles, Ruth Winder, Lauretta Hanson, Audrey Cordon= Ragot, Anna Plikta, Abi Van Tuysk, Trixie Wolak, and 15 others will return.
Elinor Beckstedt and Lucinda Brand are newcomers.
Cycling News will feature interviews with Deignan and Ciccone directly from the Ruler Classic.
