According to a report on cycling website Wielerverhaal.com, women's world number one Lorena Wiebes has received offers for the 2020 season from three of the world's biggest teams, and therefore her last contract with the current Parkhotel Valkenburg team She is looking for a way out of the season.

Vives has 15 wins in the 2019 season, including the Tour of Chongming Island, the RideLondon Classic, two stages in the Boels Ladies Tour, and an overall victory in the Dutch Road Race Championships. [According to the Dutch website, her Parkhotel Valkenburg team signed her to a three-year contract with the Dutch team before the 2018 season and hopes to hang on to her next year.

The 20-year-old has not expressed any hope to any of the teams that have expressed interest, and instead seems to be focused on seeing if she and her management team can reach an agreement to pull her away from her current contract.

"Lorena absolutely wants to leave," Wielerverhaal reported Wiebes' management team as saying.
