Dimension Data to Rebrand as NTT Pro Cycling for 2020

The Dimension Data (open in new tab) team has officially rebranded itself NTT Pro Cycling for 2020, changing its white, green, and black colors to blue and black fade colors. The change was made by NTT, the title sponsor, to bring together the brands of 31 world-class technology companies to create a new global presence.

Edvald Boasson Hagen (open in new tab), Michal Valgren, Nick Dlamini, and Samuele Battistella unveiled the new colors with team manager Doug Ryder at NTT headquarters in Tokyo.

The new colors are similar to Team Sky's previous blue and black fade colors, with the NTT logo and initials centered on the front and back of the jersey.

The garments are made by Asos and feature bike sponsor BMC on the shoulders and sponsor Alcatel-Lucent on the jersey. Qhubeka recently distributed its 100,00th bicycle in Africa, helping children to cycle to school instead of walking long distances.

NTT recently extended its global technology partnership with ASO, organizer of the Tour de France (open in new tab), through 2024 to continue providing technological innovations that enhance the race-watching experience for fans.

NTT Pro Cycling revealed its 27-rider roster for 2020, which includes Lotto Soudal's Victor Kampenaerts, Movistar's Carlos Barbero, Team Sunweb's Max Warscheid, Trek Segafredo's Michal Gogle, Team Nine new contracts were signed, including Dylan Sunderland of Bridgelane. The new minimum of 28 new World Tour teams requires at least one additional player.

Mark Cavendish has moved to Bahrain-Merida, but Louis Mainz, Ben King, Giacomo Nizzolo, and Ben O'Connor will remain with NTT Pro Cycling in 2020. Steve Cummings and Bernard Eisel have not yet decided on their future plans.
