The Israel Cycling Academy has agreed to a three-year contract with British company Factor to use Factor bikes starting in 2020. The partnership marks the return to the World Tour of Factor bikes, which supplied AG2R La Mondiale in 2017 and 2018.
Following the acquisition of Katusha-Alpecin, the Israel Cycling Academy will step up to the World Tour for the first time in 2020. Nils Pollitt and Alex Dowsett will join the merged team as Katusha riders, while Dan Martin and Andre Greipel will be new additions.
The team raced on De Rosa bikes the past two seasons, earning a wild card to the Giro d'Italia.
Factor announced that the Israel Cycling Academy will ride the O2 VAM Disc and ONE Disc bikes in 2020, and the machines will feature both custom ICA colors and new Factor decals.
The bikes will feature Black Ink wheels, seatposts, and bar stems, with Ceramic Speed, Maxxis Tires, and Serre Italia also confirmed as equipment suppliers.
