In this episode of the Cycling News Podcast brought to you by Sportful, Floyds of Leadville, and Pinarello, we kick off 2020 with an exclusive interview with Peter Stetina.
The American rider left the WorldTour after the 2019 campaign and is now preparing to change direction, embarking on a season of gravel racing.
In late December we interviewed Stetina, who enjoyed a decade at the pinnacle of elite racing at the World Tour level.
He talked about his time in the sport, stage racing, nearly losing his leg after a career-threatening crash, and how that accident forced him to reassess everything around him.
"I'm stepping back from my prime," Stetina said, reflecting on a decade-long career that took him to numerous high-profile teams.
Stetina also talks about her charity work and causes close to her heart, before confiding her hopes for the future as she enters a new phase of her life.
Enjoy this conversation with Peter Stetina.
