Cycling News is pleased to announce the appointment of junior women's road race world champion Megan Justlove as its new blogger for the 2020 season.
Justlove, 18, is one of the most successful junior athletes in American cycling, having won the Team USA world title in the junior women's road race at the UCI Road World Championships in Harrogate last September.
"I'm excited to share my experience and the inside story of what I'm doing this year," Just Love told Cycling News.
"This is my last year as a junior and I plan to compete primarily in elite events.
Justlove's international successes in 2019, including wins at the Nations Cup competitions Trofeo da Moreno-Mini-Trofeo Alfredo Binda, U17 Ghent-Wevelgem, and the junior Healthy Aging Girls Tour in England, have also made her a winner Yorkshire World Championships as a favourite.
She is also a world-class track racer. Last summer she won two world titles in the Omnium and Madison, and also won the 2019 UCI World Junior Track Championships in Frankfurt, Germany.
Adding a junior road world title to her collection makes her one of the most versatile and promising riders of her generation.
Justlove plans to continue racing in both disciplines this year. On the road, she is a member of Rally Cycling, a U.S.-based UCI women's team, and she races a combination of road and track for Team USA.
She is also a full-time first-year college student at Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee.
