2020 Paris - Nice: Stage 4 Time Trial Start Time

The first decisive stage of the 2020 Paris-Nice race was Wednesday's individual time trial stage 4.

Race leader Maximilian Schachmann (Bora-Hansgrohe) will descend the ramp at 16:05 local time at the back of the 133-man WorldTour peloton. Only 138 racers started the race after seven World Tour teams withdrew from the race due to concerns about the spread of the Covid 19 coronavirus.

The race organizer, ASO, has banned public gatherings of more than 1,000 people and has created buffer zones between the public and the athlete teams at the start and finish of the stage.

However, with the cancellation of all Italian races, and most recently the Tour de Normandie, as well as the Volta a Catalunya, which is in jeopardy due to government efforts to contain the virus, most riders expect the Paris-Nice to be finished by Sunday

The race is expected to be held on Sunday.

The uncertainty surrounding the race makes every stage all the more valuable. Follow all the action live on Cycling News from start to finish.
