Wahoo has released several small updates to its existing Elemnt series of cycling computers. All existing Elemnt computers will benefit from a firmware update that increases the compatibility of Wahoo Elemnt sensors and brings key on-screen metrics for e-bike riders. The new firmware is compatible with select Giant and Specialized e-bike models and with core data from other ANT+ LEV e-bikes. The new firmware is available for all Wahoo Elemnt devices.
When the Elemnt computer is paired with a bike, it displays range, battery life, mode, and assist rate. A breakdown of time spent in each e-bike zone and estimated remaining distance can also be displayed on the workout screen. These metrics would be a valuable addition for any e-bike rider interested in measuring performance or monitoring battery usage.
It hasn't been long since Wahoo partnered with Specialized to announce an update to the Elemnt computer that is compatible with the ANGi crash sensor found in Specialized helmets.
The Wahoo Elemnt Bolt has garnered even more attention and is now available in a highly requested all-black color scheme for riders who want a completely stealth beauty. This color scheme joins the original gray option and the limited edition yellow, red, pink, and blue options. Additionally, Wahoo has lowered the price of all Elemnt Bolt computers from £199.99 to £184.99.
