Wattbike has responded to the unprecedented demand for its Icon indoor training smart bike with a new offer that boosts its value compared to the best exercise bikes.

Wattbike's Atom is the company's feature-rich consumer bike, but the surge in demand for these has jammed an already strained supply chain. Given the unusual situation cyclists were in, Wattbike released the Icon to general retail in hopes of meeting customer demand for indoor cycling solutions during the test closure.

Riders who have experienced Wattbike in the gym will be familiar with the Icon. Its drivetrain blends magnetic and aerodynamic resistance to allow for precise adjustments and intensity levels. Like all Wattbikes, the Icon is adjustable for fit, allowing users of all builds to find their ideal riding position.

The HD touchscreen user interface is ergonomic and intuitive, and ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity allow for easy pairing with most devices and indoor cycling apps. For this, manual shifting must be used.

Wattbike is offering the Icon for £2,499, a £620 discount for home users. There is also a 0% financing option for 6 months. This purchase price includes an 11" full-color performance touchscreen.
