Which Paris-Roubaix competition was the best?

Matt Heyman's 2016 Paris-Roubaix victory and Fabian Cancellara's phenomenal 2010 race-winning performance topped the second round of the Cycling News Twitter poll of readers' votes for the best version of "Hell in the North."

Heyman's unexpected victory came just six weeks after the Australian broke his collarbone, which should be an inspiration for the current peloton, but he used Zwift to maintain his form and motivation on an indoor trainer.

Cancellara's underwhelming 2010 victory, in which he attacked with more than 50 km to go, sparked accusations that he used a secret motor. He assured us that his motor was his legs, and his powerful performance earned him a place in the semi-finals in our voting.

Tom Boonen's fourth Paris-Roubaix win came in the second round, as did his sprint win in 2016, when he lost to Hayman. However, the Belgian star will advance to the semifinals to face a repechage of Boonen's own 2008 solo win and Cancellara's first win in 2006.
