Juan Avermet and Matthews Rematch in Digital Swiss 5

After a difficult mountain race on day 3, in which Nicolas Roche took a solo victory in a simulation of the Nufenen Pass, the Digital Switzerland 5 race returned to the "flat" for the fourth race of the day.

Greg Van Avermaat (CCC Team) and Michael Matthews (Sunweb) faced off for the final podium spot behind Day 2 winners Stefan Kühn (Groupama-FDJ) and Filippo Ganna (Ineos).

The profile of the fourth race featured two early climbs, but a long, gradual "descent" to the finish. Pure power and the timing of the steep rises will be put to the test.

Kühn returns from the Swiss National Team and Kasper Asgreen from Detunink-Quick Step.

Roche and race 1 winner Rohan Dennis are rested, but Rally Cycling's Steven Bassett and Matteo Dalsin will return after finishing in the top 10 on stage 2.

Race coverage will begin at 19:10 CET on Saturday.
