In this episode of the Cyclingnews Podcast Women's Edition, we sit down with Mitchelton-Scott rider Annemiek van Vleuten in the spring of 2019, before what will prove to be one of the biggest years of her career.

The Dutch all-rounder has had a year of elite women's road racing, winning Liège-Bastogne-Liège, her second overall at the Giro Rosa, and the UCI Road World Championships in Yorkshire with a history-making 105km solo attack to win It was a year of domination. [37-year-old Van Vleuten has been riding professionally since 2009 and has become one of the top and most recognizable riders in the women's peloton. She is also a two-time time trial world champion, a two-time Giro Rosa winner, a two-time La Course winner, and the current elite women's road race world champion.

Before meeting with Van Vleuten in the spring of 2019, we asked her to reflect on her career and choose five of her biggest and most meaningful moments.

This conversation took place just days before her solo win at Liège-Bastogne-Liège in April, but she had plenty of moments to choose from her decade-long career, including the Tour de Flanders, Olympics, World Championships, Giro Rosa, and La Course.
