The Greatest: Top 10 Grand Tour Riders of the World Tour Era - Podcast

In this week's Cycling News Podcast, Cycling News Features Editor Patrick Fletcher and Pro Cycling magazine editor Edward Pickering compete to rank the greatest GC Grand Tour riders of the World Tour era.

In no particular order, they chose 10 riders: Cadel Evans, Chris Froome, Nairo Quintana, Tom Dumoulin, Alberto Contador, Bradley Wiggins, Vincenzo Nibali, Geraint Thomas, Egan Bernal, and Alejandro Valverde. Choosing 10 and analyzing their Grand Tour careers since the World Tour began in 2019, Pickering and Fletcher arrived at two very different lists through four criteria: number of wins, longevity, competitiveness, and legacy/reputation.

We discuss both lists and notable omissions from our original ten, and to break up the proceedings, we also weave in an interview with Simon Yates.

We'd love to hear your top 10.
