US Road Champion Lauren Stevens and US Cyclocross Champion Clara Honsinger have renewed their contracts with TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank for 2022 and 2023.
"I am very happy to be a part of Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank for two more seasons," said Stevens. 'This team continues to be a perfect fit, as it has been for over a decade.'
Stevens has been with the American team since 2013. She has won the overall at the Tour de L'Ardèche and Jo Martin, and has been on the podium at the Santos Women's Tour Down Under and the Tour of California time trial.
Honsinger gave Stevens her first U.S. national title at the USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships in June.
Honsinger, who specializes in cyclocross for Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com, joined the TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank road team this year, her first pro road contract. She will spend the next two seasons with this team honing her WorldTour skills.
"I am excited that TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank saw the potential in me and my performance. Being on the World Tour gives me a great opportunity to grow and achieve great results."
TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank announced that it will apply for a Women's World Tour license in 2022.
The team, owned and managed by Linda Jackson, has secured additional funding through existing partners to meet the higher financial requirements, including increased rider salaries, needed to be part of the top tier of women's teams.
The team will also provide the riders with the critical resources needed to achieve their goals, including infrastructure improvements, specific training camps, a performance director, and additional coaching and supervisory staff.
