The Spring 2022 Classic is underway. If you're looking for ways to watch the Classics over the next month, we've put together a handy Classics live stream guide.
A series of one-day races in Belgium, France, and Italy in March and April will bring four monuments throughout the spring: the Milan-San Remo, Tour de Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, and Liege-Bastogne-Liege.
The sprinters' classics, the Scheldeprij and Scheldeprij Women's, are the last spring cobbled classics usually held between Flanders and Roubaix, but this year they will be held a week and a half earlier than the latter due to a schedule change.
Cycling News will bring you full reports, results, news, interviews, and analysis throughout the race. For information on how to watch the Spring Classic via live stream, please use ExpressVPN (opens in new tab).
Given the race's reputation for favoring sprinters, it is not surprising that both races are more or less flat.
The men's 199km race starts in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, and heads across the border to Schoten, Belgium, where it finishes with three and a half laps of the local circuit. There are four short cobblestone sections in Schoten, but they are not cobbled like those in Flanders or Roubaix.
The women's section is a 138-km route around Schoten and within Belgium. The cobblestones of the Broekstraat also make an appearance towards the end of the race.
Men's schedule Start - Wednesday, April 6, 12:45 (11:45 BST, 07:45 EST); Finish - Wednesday, April 6, 17:18 (16:18 BST, 12:18 EST)
Women's schedule: Start - 11:30 (10: 30 BST, 05:30 EST), Finish - 15:02 (14:02 BST, 10:18 EST) on Wednesday, April 6
