The men's and women's peloton heads to Walloon to take on the Ardennes Classics.

A series of one-day races in Belgium, France, and Italy in March and April will bring four monuments throughout the spring: Milan-San Remo, Tour de Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, and Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

On Sunday, the men's and women's peloton will converge on Liège for Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femme to conclude this month-long classic of cobbles and hills.

The men's peloton will travel 257km south from Liège to Bastogne before returning to Liège for a flat finish in the city center.

Along the way, the peloton will take in the Côte de Saint-Roch (1 km, 9.9%), Côte de Wanne (3.5 km, 5%), Côte de Stocou (1 km, 12.8%), Col du Rosier (4.4 km, 5.7%), Côte de la Redoute (2 km, 8.6%), and the final one-two punch, Côte de la Roche aux Faucons (1.3 km, 10.5%) and on to Boncel (1.2 km, 6.3%).

The women go directly north from Bastogne for 142 km, with numerous climbs awaiting between them and glory, including Vannes, Stockeu, Rosier, La Redoute, Roche aux Faucons, and Boncelles.

Champion Tadey Pogachar (UAE Team Emirates) is not at the start, but world champion Julien Alaphilippe (Quick Step-Alfa Vinyl) and Wout Van Alt (Jumbo-Visma) lead the men's race, Dylan Teuns, Matej Mohoric (Bahrain Victorious), Alejandro Valverde (Movistar), Alexandre Vlasov (Bora-Hansgrohe) and other stars will also compete.

In the women's competition, champions Demi Vollering (SD Works), Annemiek van Fruten (Movistar), and Amstel/Fleche champion Marta Cavalli (FDJ-Nouvelle Aquitaine-Futuroscope) are the favorites.
