Because their usual jersey was too close to the pink leader's jersey of the Giro d'Italia, the EF Education-Easy Post team has once again changed their jersey for the first Grand Tour of 2022.

This will be the third year in a row that the U.S. team will use a different kit during the race; in 2020, the team wore a bold geographic design and added Palace Skateboards as a sponsor to the team presentation, resulting in a 4,500 The team was fined CHF 4,500. This switched design was not registered by the deadline. The design, which featured a duck-style time trial helmet, went viral and the jersey sold for over £600 on eBay.

Rapha designers worked on it again in 2021, dropping the collaboration with Palace Skateboards (and the duck theme) in favor of a modern art-inspired jersey called "Euphoria."

This year's design is a color reversal of the team's regular kit, with the pink areas in darker shades behind the same sponsor logo placement.

The Giro d'Italia will start on Friday in Budapest, with three stages in Hungary.
