The family of Moriah 'Mo' Wilson organized a GoFundMe to honor her memory and raise funds.
Funds raised will be donated to local youth organizations that focus on finding confidence, strength, and joy through activities such as cycling and skiing, which were Wilson's passions.
Wilson was killed in a shooting in Austin, Texas on May 11, 2022. She was 25 years old.
In a statement on the GoFundMe (opens in new tab) page, her family wrote a message explaining that the organization intends to help young people pursue their dreams.
The page was launched on May 19 and had raised nearly $50,000 as of Sunday, May 22. The goal is $100,000.
