FDJ Women's Team Becomes FDJ-SUEZ-Futuroscope

The FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuroscope team has announced a new co-title sponsor in conjunction with the Tour de France Femme Avec Zwift and will be renamed FDJ-SUEZ Futuroscope beginning July 15.

The water and waste management company has signed a three-year contract with the women's world team, and Futuroscope will be dropped from the name next season.

FDJ will extend its commitment to the team through 2025, and Futuroscope and the Nouvelle Aquitaine region will also continue as non-name sponsors.

The team's press release states that its status as a WorldTeam is "an essential step for the team and opens up new world-class sporting objectives."

The FDJ women's team is currently ranked second in the UCI world rankings behind SD Worx, and along with Marta Cavalli has scored big wins at La Flèche Wallonne Féminine and the Amstel Gold Race. Grace Brown recently took a stage win and second place overall in the Women's Tour and a podium finish in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Women's race, while Clara Copponi won the opening stage of the Women's Tour.

This news comes after French champion Evita Mujic announced that she has renewed her contract with the team through 2025.
